I've thought of those as well as taper bearings (like a wheel bearing of the proper size but with both races) In that case you do have to cut inner and outer retaining rings though. My big problem w

This is very simular to the one UST uses. With the exception that the mast diameter is 2 1/16" and has a 2 hole bolt pattern. I wonder if the 2" hole would be too small for some masts? Julio, W4HY to
