I have recently acquired some Rohn 25G sections which I plan to erect soon. I'm wondering if it would be of benefit to purchase the hinged base plate to tilt the tower for antenna/rotor maintenance.

I totally agree. I've rarely seen a Rohn foldover that wasn't damaged at some point. I keep reading about the "advantages" of tilting a tower over for rotator installation, etc. (including the Hazer

I'm thinking of putting up a 50' rohn tilt over with an attachment at the roof ridge 22' up. also , thinking of putting the crank up pulley at the working ground level with the transition pull pulley

Has anyone ever read how much Rohn 25 can be tilted over ??? I have helped put up 40 and 50 Rohn 25 with tilt bases with no problems ( guyed that is) Would I need a truss to tilt 70 ft with 2 Hygiene

The old Rohn 25 fold over kits allowed about 45 feet of Rohn 25 to be folded over the base of around 20 feet for a total height of around 68 feet. However, that was with a rigid heavy spine of about
