Hi all, Using XL = 2pi*f*L and R=XL/Q, I get a little less than 1 ohm of loss resistance in the traps using the measurements posted here. This neglects radiation from the trap. Power loss = I**R and

I don't mean to be disrespectful but I find it odd that Tony, K1KP who apparently was re-building his KT34/36 for the third or fourth time was concerned with the reliability of the SteppIR antennas.
