If the "gunk" happens to be some form of NoAlOx compound that has dried, it can be very tenacious to remove. But a shot of WD-40 and it just wipes right off..... 73 Don VE6JY the ____________________

A can of Automotive Brake cleaner or Carb cleaner should clean up that crap good. After its cleaned use Noalox to put it back together. Pete _______________________________________________ __________
