I've had only one case where the aluminum pulley itself was damaged. In all other cases, when the bearing froze, the whole pulley assembly rotated around the bolt holding it in place. Take a look at

My issue with the bearing is that the one side of the bearing had the retainer ring broke and fell off. Im sure I could get another ring from a replacement bearing which Ill do. But for now I ordered
