Don't know about Cushcraft, but Force 12 uses the same orientation. Bout 12' spacing with the old design and only 4 to 6' with the new. Makes for a nice compact, low wind load installation. 73 Roger

I have been using for two years a D3W mounted four feet above a C3SS and positioned parallel to the yagi boom. Both antennas work great with no apparent interaction. Frank VO1HP _____________________

I have a friend who put the D3W on the same boom as the 10/15/20 yagi, between the driven element and the reflector. Works great too! Very compact. 12, 17, and 30M are not harmonics of any other band
