I'm assuming the ends are PL-259's? There are plastic caps like those used on Phillystran and Yagi element ends and Plastic pipe caps. They are available (I've seen them) but finding such might take

DX Engineering(.com) has one size to fit so-239 (or double female "barrel" connectors), and a size to fit pl-250 connectors Both in packs of 20 for less than ten bucks a pack. Part numbers are: DXE-V

On the ends I zip tie the end of the coax to a post or whatever nearby and put an empty plastic Skippy peanut butter jar (small size) down over the top of the connector. I have found Skippy crunchy w

They don't work very well once dirt (even a few grains of sand) gets in them and if you live in an area that gets below freezing even a little condensation can temporarily render them ...inconvenient
