I think using a worm gear wench with a drill is one easy way And this wench will not move without turning the crank (brake or no brake). I am not sure about 6000# just could be a little large in phys

Thanks for the reply...well I've been using a "Hazer" on my 68 foot test tower for ten years...and it works great... It's nice to build antenna's at waist height then crank it up for testing etc....t
