- I am confused Tod. This is labeled KT-34XA not XM-240. I use the older 2 el Cushcraft on 17 (353 DXCC SSB). I tried it on 12 as Bill K1MM used his there and found it had too much of a cloverleaf patt

- Don, There is a minor resonance just above 17 meters. As many have found, the VSWR isn't that bad at 18.1 MHz and the antenna acts like a dipole with a very slight F/B. It works well there. 73, Joe,

- Do the boom to mast mounting blocks (aluminum V block item 35 in the manual) have elongated holes to accommodate smaller U bolts. My mast is 2 inch and would like to use smaller U bolts for more grip
