This came up several months ago. Search the archives. It's a tough lamp to replace. Rather than attempt it, I found some nice bright LEDs and managed to squeeze them into the right side of the bezel

IdiomPress makes a small illuminator board for HyGain rotor boxes which might work. It has 3 LEDs and is intended to sit on top of a meter with a clear top. It has a rectifier to get the DC voltage f

I have one of these kits. The kit is fine, works fine, marginally bright enough in my opinion...probably not quite as bright as the stock bulb. Getting the kit is the problem...order it and wait 6 mo

I got mine in a couple of days. It has a jumper scheme to set the intensity in addition to a height setting when soldering the LEDs. I haven't installed mine yet so I don't know how the actual intens

I did this a while ago using a super bright LED with my G-1000 controller. I used one LED with a 450 OHM limiting resistor (the LED package will tell you what value resistor to use). Because the ligh

Three small leds in series, would drop about 6 volts. At 20 mA, from a 12 volt DC supply a typical value for the dropping resistor would be about 330 ohms. A small full wave bridge rectifier would be

You don't really need the full wave bridge. Install a 1N4000 (or equivalent) in series with the LED/resistor and a 10 mfd capacitor across the LED's. The 1N4000 protects the LED's from reverse voltag
