Hello AllThis is a hearty "Thank You" to all of the nice responses I received regarding my questions about an all band antenna and the balanced-balanced antenna tuner. There were so many I thought I

Hello Guys ! I am putting up a 60foot tower and I plan on using a log periodic near the top of the tower . I was thinking of also putting up a log periodic for vhf ,uhf and utility stations. The ques

This question would be more appropriate on the TowerTalk reflector... but here's my thoughts... I had a HyGain TH5DXX at 90 feet for 15 years and this antenna played well. It uses a dual driven eleme

I have an A4S and several Th7DXX. I have also used a TH5 at Field Day this year and a local has had one up for years. The A4S is a very good antenna electrically--I am often surprised with its good p

I plan on mounting a CushCraft D3W dipole on the mast above my Mosley TA-33JR. What distance should seperate the two antennas to avoid interaction. As of now I have between 2 - 3 feet. I can replace

When I put up my low frequency dipole from the tower to a tree it will be center fed with 450 Ohm ( home made ) open wire line. Eznec says I will have a 7:1 SWR. A 1:1 Balun would convert that to 50

Bob, The answer is a little more complicated than might at first appear. Let's assume the feedpoint impedance of your dipole is 64+j0 at resonance. That will indeed result in a 7:1 SWR on the open-wi

Ted I just tried it on a model of a 20M 2 element beam in EZNEC. Adjusting the length of the reflector from 218" to 225" did not affect the frequency of lowest SWR, but it did, in my case, cause the
