Hello everyone im hoping you can help educate me on the options i might have for replacing a Fulton K1550 winch. Are the mounting holes for that winch similar to other winches? Just curious to know i

Hi Luke, I've replaced the K1550 with a K2550 on my US Tower TX-455. It did require a different bolt pattern, which I accommodated by making an adapter plate. You can check it out by going to my web

I replaced the K1550 on my US Tower HDX-555 by the Fulton K2550 (purchased from Croft Trailer for approx. $200). The K2550 has mounting *slots* rather than just round holes, so it fit with no trouble

As I remember, when I replaced the k1550 with the k2550, I had to file two of the mounting plate holes a bit (maybe 1/4" on one side). Other than that everything fit. k7puc __________________________

I have used both 2550 and an older 2 speed Dutton Laison on same winch mounting plate supplied with the LM-470 tower ...all fit fine, no holes to drill 73, Dennis N6KI _______________________________
