Hi Bill, This topic has been discussed before and the simple answer is that you can mount the dipole on the same boom as the 402CD if you want. There will be very little or no interaction. A friend o

I have a D3-W (with the 10 Mhz driven element extension) up at 50 feet with a 6 meter beam on top. It is a very fine performing antenna and beats previous wire antennas hands down. <http://blog.boxbe

Just watch the power level on the appropriate bands. The traps I had on my D3W didnt like the full legal limit over a period of time. Got tired of replacing them and went to a 4 el Steppir! Elliott W

I also give good reviews on the D3W. I've had mine for almost 30 y and have had no troubles. It started on CO around 1986 and it handled chinooks and boras (86 mph) just fine. It came to OK in 1995 a

Read carefully. I was talking about the traps on the D3W for 12 and 17. If I had added the 30/40 option to the Steppir, which I didnt, that would work on 30! Elliott _________________________________
