I have problems with the meter on my ham 4. The schematic in the manual and on the Hy-Gain website leaves a little to be desired. My meter circuit pc board has 5 total diodes on it. CR1 and VR1 are d

I've checked that manual twice (the version I had downloaded some time ago and the one on the web site) and there are only two diodes on the control board. Are you confusing the terminal locations: 1

Hey Joe, No, not the terminal connections. I am looking right at the meter pc board. On the top of the board on the left side of it are one diode and a resistor under it and another diode with a resi

In doing research I have found that the control box is probably from a tailtwister. The schematic of the tailtwister shows all the diodes as shown on the circuit board. Problem is they still do not i

CR1 Diode, PIV 100V, 1A VR1 Zener Diode, 13V 50ma Both of these diodes are for the DC source that runs through the 500 ohm pot in the rotator and then back through the meter in the control unit to in

If you have LEDs on the front panel of the controller for CW, CCW and brake the controller is actually from the Tailtwister - check that schematic. Those diodes (CR3, CR4, and CR5) would be the same
