This knot thread has been very interesting. I work with hams ALL THE TIME and if they know a knot - ANY knot! - I'm thrilled. When I ask for them to send something up, generally what I get is a WAD O

I've got nothing against knots, either, but for tower work, give me ropes with woven eyes on the ends, and an assortment of endless rope slings, carabiners, and buckets. Quicker, and fullproof. -- St

Most useful in my knot bucket ... timber hitch (masts, booms) and Sheet bend .. most best for coupling ropes of different sizes/types, ez to undo on top of the stick! 73 -- Mark, AA6DX TIME knot. wor
