- I have a Trylon T600 - 64', hopefully going up in a few weeks. A few = questions, if I may... It will be assembled on the ground and raised by a crane. How does one = attach a Rohn 25 ginpole to the

- First, the Rohn 25/45 ginpole WILL NOT fit on anything but Rohn 25/45. You can adapt the mast but the leg fixture will be useless. Why not use the crane to lift everything up while he's there? Have h

- Dave: I agree with K7LXC - do as much with the crane as you can (tower, mast, antennas, etc.) If for some reason you can't keep the crane after the tower is up ($$), I'd recommend putting the mast in

- Well, that sure makes sense.. use the CRANE for everything you can! Now, there is a way to simply raise the aerial(s) up to the top and connect to the mast after the crane has gone, IF you have the m

- My personal rule for Rohn Gin Poles is: NEVER EVER use a Gin Pole to raise antennas. Don't even think about it.... NEVER ! The reason is simple: The gin pole is designed for LIGHT VERTICAL LIFTS. ANY

- TT: I have to admit that yes, indeed, the gin pole did bend a bit when we hauled up the 75 pound Yagi and very noticeably when we hauled up the 120 pound mast. If I had/have to do it again I'd probab

- More follow on here.. all the crane company's have what is called a " Man Basket " this is attached to the cranes fast line and YOU can haul up or swing around and do plenty of work at little risk..

- Oh, I dunno. Depends on the load, and how it is arranged. My A3S barely weighs 20 lbs. K9AY and I had no trouble raising it with a Bill Wall gin pole (much more substantial than a Rohn gin pole). But
