The problem was noticed on the air, both with a radio interfaced and with no radio interfaced. The experiments were conducted off the air without a radio. The experiments should be easy to replicate.

Yo Paul Did you go back and make sure the old TR version is still okay. Might be something easy like smartdrv is off? Also you might download another copy of the new TR version in case the first was

Are you running a disk cache that you know of? Sounds like SMARTDRV might fix this. TR does use disk overlays and if they actually do come off the disk - it can slow things down. Different versions

I'm using pure DOS 6.22 (no Windows available on my logging machine), but was not using SMARTDRV for TRLog--although I had menus set up in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT that used SMARTDRV in other situ
