- Chet make sure all the components are flush to the PCB especially the input coil and the drain resistor. If everything looks good then you could have a damaged chip cap(s) in the source of the GaAs F

- Thank you for the many suggestions offered for my problem. On the most-likely list were spurious oscillations, a bad solder connection or a cracked chip cap. So I hauled the panel back onto the workb
