Jim and All, I should clarify the 144.260 comment. In the Rochester area it is common for home stations and rovers to keep a radio on .260 for either liaison or CQing. But if you only have one radio

Jim et al When you get down close to Florida almost all the activity is either on 144.200 or 50.125 and activity on the higher bands result from qsy from either of these frequencies. VRY 73 Bob Cummi
