When I make 2Tone the primary TU for the rttyrite there seems to be no way to key a PTT serial port when I have to use AFSK. As soon as I try to use a rttyrite port, FSK is assumed. Do not use a Rtty

Rereading Don's tutorial just now reminded me why I don't want to do what I was trying to do. I must use AFSK with the Flex and because of the NET issue I really don't want 2Tone in control of the tr

I must use AFSK with the Flex and because of the NET issue I really don't want 2Tone in control of the transmitter. NET is not a significant issue with 2Tone ... 2Tone is a completely different parad

I second all of Joe's comments. Furthermore, the 2Tone AFC and NET "locked on feature" can be effectively disabled by simply zero-beating the station you are working. If CQing, then zero-beat with RI

I agree with Joe and Ed. However, I would still recommend that users not employ 2Tone in the main Rttyrite window when transmitting AFSK. Despite NET being limited to +/- 60 hz with 2Tone, you cannot

Right on. I want to transmit just where I was calling CQ. And although tuning RIT is nice on a radio that has a knob to twist, the Flex has a little thumb wheel control thing that is extremely awkwar
