When sending CW in WL, is there a way of keying the PTT using the parallel interface and HOLD the PTT closed until the end of the CW message (i.e. non-QSK). So far I've only been able to use it in QS

The slow one is a software command sent over the COM port, whereas the fast one is a hardware signal. Hardware is definitely better, if your hardware supports it (proper cable, etc.). Chad WE9V _____

"Command on COM port" means that a message is sent over the radio interface to turn TX on or off. It is subject to delays depending on the port speed to the radio and if the radio is busy. "COM RTS"
