I suspect what's happening is that in your Port Setup dialog, the LPT port number you have set in the DVK column is not LPT1. Said another way, the LPT port selected in the DVK column is the one that

I'd like some feedback on PTT options. I have PTT Control set to "Command Rig on COM port. Has anyone experienced any problems with this method? Would I be better off with PTT hardwired on a COM port

You don't mention how you are interfacing the COM port to your rig. You do need to convert the +/- 12 Volt TTL levels from the COM port to whatever levels are required by your rig for PTT. Most just

FWIW, I've had no problem controlling PTT on an Omni VI+ and FT1000MP using just the serial port on the rig (i.e., no separate PTT wire from the PC to the rig). GL/73, Barry N1EU ____________________
