I think RAM is probably more important than CPU speed with WL. A 133 mhz machine should work OK with at least 96M RAM. I am presently using a 200 mhz machine with 96M RAM and it made a BIG difference

Thanks for all the replies to my question about using the less powerful pc. I imagine it will be a trial and error, and if it doesn't work, it's not that big of a deal as I can always use the XP Pro

The consensus is that I either have a dirty mouse or my video card won't handle quick movement of the mouse. Usually it leaves tracks before it freezes the PC. This seems to indicate the video card.
