- Just got a new radio and setting up with software. I set the 7800 in the Setup box, but WL (10.53E) doesn't see the radio. Using COM7 and Auto for Baud. It works fine in DX4WIN, so I know my port set

- I think you need to make a change in the [PORTS] section of the writelog.ini file. From the WriteLog help file: There are 4 "slots" available for WriteLog rig interfacing. By default, CommSlot1 is CO

- Thanks for the note, Gary. Not only did I need to change WL to a number rather than Auto, I had to do the same thing in the 7800's menu. Changed it from AUto to 9600 and all is fine now. 73, Barry __

- I solved the problem. Baud rate was set to AUTO by default in both WL and the 7800. When I changed both to 9600, it worked. I had already defined the ports. 73, Barry -- Barry Kutner, W2UP Newtown, P

- Barry, I 2nd the same problem with the Pro3. I think I traced the problem with autobaud on the rig with using one program with one rate first, then a second program with a different rate second. The
