- My guess is the extra processor time required to switch between frequencies. The MP's sub receiver isn't a totally seperate system as it is in the 1000d. Most radios have the same problem especially

- Hi Steve and Group, I prefer the sound of the sidetone with the sub-receiver on.....also allows you to adjust the sidetone volume without using control on the rear of the 1000MP. I'll have to check a
