Hello all..can anyone tell me whether the backlight bulbs for the FT5100 are still available through Yaesu or is there another source?? Part numbers are welcome. I have 2 which are blown and I cannot

If you want to continue with light bulbs, the Radio Shack 12v /60ma microlamps work just fine. Part number 272-1092 (about $1.50 for 2). The actual voltage on the lamp in the radio is about 10 volts

Ted I gave up replacing bulbs more than a decade ago and only install high brightness LEDs. It is not difficult to find a suitable size replacement and to make it work at the right voltage. You will
