I don't know about the different kinds of foam - I ordered mine new on Ebay including the "standard" foam and have used the Pelican with the foam that came with it to transport my LK-500Z 54 lb. ampl

I don't know if these 'TSA-authorized' locks are integral to the case, or like any other 'TSA-authorized' lock you can buy. The reason I bring this up is that we lose a couple 'TSA-authorized' combo
