Make sure that the baud rate is under 2400 and the C-Id matches (usually 04). Try CdE ON and OFF until it works. Jim unable to achieve success with OMNI VI+. COM port and cable verified with TNC, but

...I used to run a 6+ w/CT Have you tried a hard reboot of the Omni? I had to do that once - somehow the Omni picked up some static or loose electrons floating around the shack and got dumb...the rig
