- What is the preferred way to do CW (paddles and keying rig) from NA on a laptop? I'm configuring a couple of 75 MHz 486 laptops as backups, and clearly can't put in W9XT boards as in my main computer

- I have built the keying interface for paddles and the computer as described in the NA Manual. The scheme works, but I haven't perfected the paddle "sound" and speed. The cw doesn't sound as clean as

- Jeff, I use the LPT port with my laptop, but like a desktop. Laptops are no different that desktops in this regard. Never had a problem with it in fixed/portable setups (DXpeditions, Field Day, etc.)
