I'm turning a 105CA & a 402CD (beefy QHS design) with a T2X. I notice that sometimes it will not turn one direction, but turning briefly the other direction fixes the problem. Not a big deal... just

I have the same problem on my one tower. I think it's the wedge brake sticking. It's jammed into the slot. When you take the pressure off it, it extracts, leaving the rotator free to turn. Fix? Dunn

Bill You've discovered the 'sticky brake' syndrome. T2X's have this problem, as the brake wedge fails to retract if there is torque applied when you try to release the brake. Interesting to note that

Hi Bill, This sounds like the symptoms I had for a couple years before my rotor lost all braking capability. In retrospect, I think that one of the slots for the brake wedge may have become deformed
