My QTH is at EL95. It is probably the most distant CONUS low band station from Tree's QTH. Almost a DX. Both theory and intuition suggest that 1.99 MHz should be better for long distance communicatio

At 1130 UTC this morning the 1800.5 K7RAT beacon was an easy 100% copy at about 549. The 1999.5 beacon was detectable, however it was in and out of the noise, maybe a 20-25% copy. Both signals seemed
