Being fairly new to TB, I'm not quite sure when I should hang up my efforts for the season to get the last two states for 160m WAS. I have been able to get the other 48 in one season, all cfmd on LOT

I'm in Ohio, not as far NE as you, and I've never worked AK in the "off-season," but I have a contact with KH6ZM on August 1, 2007,confirmed on LotW, among the HI stations I've worked on top band. 73

Alaska was also workable from the east coast last weekend, but very difficult do to poor propagation conditions. KL7RA answered my CQ on Sunday morning, but very weak. Hawaii was easily workable this
