Working on antennas like everyone else.I have 1 585 ft Beverage up and a K9AY loop.I have a spot on a slope back in the woods about 200 to 300 ft long. It's on the edge of the field it's NE/SW.Thinki

Peter,That does look like good project. One thing I noticed in the article is that should be place on level ground. But I might give it a try. Thanks for idea. Fred KB4QZH  -- Original message --From

A DHDL is somewhat ground independent so might be a choice. Raising the base of one end with 66' separation isn't too tough on the slope. It is possible to phase a couple of them. Then add some relay

Fred 1) You will be (pleasantly) surprised at how well a 300' beverage actually works on 160 ( and will work great on 80 & 40) 2) At 200' BOGs actually do well. I just finished a series of experiment

I shall be trying 2 modest flags at right-angles. I will switch polarities to obtain 4-quadrant reception into a K3S dual receiver in diversity mode. It's not all about gain or beamwidth but what the

David,Sounds like a good project also. I'm looking for fishing poles to use with the DHDL and gine that one a try.The poles will come handy for other antennas too. I'm guessing these poles are not a
