Are you asking because of the upcoming TARA RTTY Melee that seems to include 160M? Many band plans (e.g. ARRL's) show RTTY concentrating in 1.80-1.81. I have 15 RTTY 160M QSO's in my log almost all f

The reason I am asking that an experienced operator told me that RTTY mode is restricted bellow 1.810Mc There is no FCC rule and I can't find any "recommendation" such as the DX window anyplace. I am

1800-1810 recommendation is from ARRL. Not regulation, just recommendation. RTTY in this segment is very rare and almost all I have ever heard is the centennial W1AW/portables. Many but not all W1AW/

When I completed my 160m RTTY WAS it was almost all on 1808, with the rest of the QSOs on or near 1838. However, there wasn't as much digital activity back then (2009-2010) as there is today. I would
