- Thanks to all who responded to this inquiry. It appears that 64 is a good place to start given the limited space to put them. That will eat up most of that 2000 feet of wire. Then, on to a RX antenna

- You got only part of the story. Elevated radials need to be a significant fraction of a quarter-wave above ground to be as effective as a much larger number of on-the-ground radials, and 10 ft is far
