A very impressive list of features on the website. One thing I noticed immediately is that they are using both crystal and DSP IFfiltering in the main rx, but only IF DSP in the sub-rx. I think a sub

The thing that rang my bell most was the fact that you will be able to run very narrow roofing bandwidths on the main RX, which should really make a difference in contest conditions. Unless you're re

TenTec could use a single roofing filter in the sub-receiver wide enough for SSB (3 KHz, 6 Pole maybe) and the ability to switch it out for wider modes (AM, FM) without a major increase in cost comp

32-bits of DSP is a very substantive technical claim IMHO The implication we're supposed to draw is that those DSPs are accompanied by at least 16-bits of A/D & D/A and therefore >90 dB of dynamic r

I agree with Pete. In this class, you can't expect the sub-rx to do everything. Besides, in my own application, the only thing I ever really use the sub-rx for in my 1000mp is for finding the DX list
