I just built two verticals like that last month. 4" to 30 ft, then 3" to 60 ft, then 2" to 90 ft. Raised 'em up in 1 minute with a 4" 30 ft falling derrick. Nothing to it. Rick N6RK ________________

For what its worth -- I constructed my verticals using 5", 0.050" wall irrigation tubing, from top to bottom. The verticals are 140 feet high. The top section is 120 feet, made from three 40' lengths

The guys are attached Not sure what you're saying here. Does the bowline go around the irrigation tubing, or just the hose clamp? I'm concerned if the guys tension would have to be handled by the hos

Big Snip... Regarding the "...hose clamps stripping..." comment - that would usually be in reference to the "perforated" clamps that are most commonly sold in auto parts and hardware stores. Please
