Considering the conditions, this was an amazing CQP!
80 and 40 were a bit of a disappointment and 15 was open big time for
several hours with nobody around to make Q's with. 15 meter signals
from the east were amazingly STRONG from W3, W4 and occasionally
1 and 2 land.
The most amazing thing was the Europeans! With my KT34X-A pointed due
east most of the time, the Europeans were all over the band on 20! I
finally pointed over the pole to work them down a bit so I could
continue my search for Mults! Thanks to the Europeans for all the
points! At 2106Z on Sunday, OD6NJ called me on 20 ssb and was S5 off
the side of my Yagi! ( That really broke my concentration!!! :-) )
Great fun as always, Best LP score for me ever in 7 years and sure was a
FUN contest thanks to all you guys/gals who gave us the Q's!
The Shasta DX and Contest Club, the worlds" Smallest contest club", with
the worlds LARGEST collection of CQP "TOP CLUB" awards did well....AGAIN!
