  QSO QSOPTS COUNTRIES W/VE SCORE

  243 1281 46 11 73.017

Rig: IC-781 + QRO
TRX antenna: Inverted L, highest point 18 m agl, 4 radials

RX antennas: 1. Beverage for USA 310ø apr. 300 m (+) bidirectional,
(I had never measured how long is, it takes 6 or 7 minutes
if you want to come from one end to the other)...
           2. Beverage for NE 40ø apr 100 m long (not enough) bidirectional

36 QSOs in first hour. CN8GI at 0331, CU2CE/0424. US first night bad.
W4ZV/NC first at 0543, then NJ and FL, just 3 states - last QSO with US
at 0613.. TG9NX at 0559. Last qso in the morning at 0641. 104 qsos,
36 countries, 3 WVE. Not enough qsos and countries.
Afternoon start at 1550. UA9FXY/1625, EA8ZS/2234, EK6GC/2242, 5B4MF/
0138. Then US - much better second night. K3ANS first at 0145.
N3HBX was loud in EU, I had called him long time, without success. K1NG
had findout the situation, and breaked, called me just once, with very nice
signal all night as usual. Then GA, NY, MA, AL. VE1PZ - NS, just one
Canadian.
V47KP at 0522 after three calls. Last US stn was K1OW from ME at 0605.
I had heard US stns till 0630. Last qso in the morning at 0657.In the log
232 qsos, 46 countries and 11 WVE.
Another 11 qsos between 1441 and 1600. Also 5P1ER/A from Denmark
as a new prefix for me.
   On the end 216 EU, 20 US/VE, 5 AS, 2 AF. I had heard a lot of
multipliers and not worked them, they were mostly S&P: T77T, T77C, T77C,
SV8JG, SV8CS, SV8JE, SV9ANH, EX8K, 9H1BT,UN7JID, GJ3, SV5, EA6...
Generally the second night conditions were little better for US then
previous years, but the countries - multipliers were like in the previous
years on my side.
I had heard US stations mostly between 1810 - 1875. But just very fews
above 1875. Above 1890, the frequency was clear, without EU qrm. It was
very easy to pick up the US sations CQ-ing above 1890...
Next year, I hope to get more "wire" decibels on transmit.
