Interesting condx.... Strongest signals from the northern hemisphere
came from California (first night) and Texas (second night) via a
very selective longpath. Europe on direct path very week here,
but OF1AF was going into the log at 11Z beaming SW to South Africa
(90 degree from direct path). Even no copy of Japan, except beaming
into Australia (also 90 degree). This was clearly a 'Southern' weekend,
with Australia and New Zealand producing signals strong as never heard
before. The new cycle is clearly on it's way - cu in '98.
