Comments: Didn't plan to operate the test, but operated 15 hours despite
many previously planned "diversions." My wife says I'm addicted! At least,
it wasn't another all-nighter.
With both F, E skip, and tropo scatter, it was interesting. Heard and worked
my first 10M Europeans of new cycle: I, F, and HB on CW. No JA's. Most
exciting DX was VK9NS and YJ1AIO. The east coast was very strong both
mornings at 1700-1800 UTC when I could actually run stations with 5 watts and
had Q-rates of 60 and 59 the two mornings. Worked 150 miles tropo scatter to
WY on CW, but was unsuccesful working backscatter.
Used a 3 element monobander at 50' from a hilltop location 8 miles north of
Pikes Peak.
