We're happy with the results considering the following:
* Computer canceled our reservations from Aruba to Las Piedras Venezuela
* Equipment detained in Venezuelan customs for 3 days (what a nightmare to
get it released)
* Equipment arrives at QTH at 4 PM local Thursday evening
* Entire station set up Field Day style on Thursday evening and Friday
* Antennas are 300m from the shack, and we go back and forth about 8 times
on Friday
* We start the contest dead-tired on Saturday
* Amps run at low power, with about 200-300w getting to the antennas
* Only simple single element verticals used on all bands (10-80)
* K2KW gets food lodged in esophagus and is rushed to hospital 40 minutes
away
* Station completely taken down starting 1 hour after the contest ends, and
is completed by 5PM Sunday
* We get up at 4:30 AM on Monday to head for the airport...
