Comments:
Another good contest but several countries just did not
seem to be on for the contest. Propagation was a little weird
from the Caribbean. Murphy also played havoc with the effort
by way of a couple power cuts.
Interestingly, not many of the EU's were taking the contest
seriously, and I had to really beg stations to accept QTC's.
In the past, I would practically have to beg stations not
to interupt a run for me to pass QTC's. Strange.
Thanks to "rare" mults like GI3OQR, GW3SFC, HB0/DF5RF (5 bands),
LY2BTA, OM3GI, SW5AI, T77WI, T94MZ, TK/DL7HZ (4 bands) YO5CYG,
Z32AF, Z31GX & ZA1AJ. A lot of these ops were nice enough to move
to other bands to provide the much needed mults. The most important
thing though was enjoying the contest as I always do and look
forward to next year's contest.
