Comments: Poor conditions this weekend. Trying hard to work some DX, but
very difficult. Best DX was both Mike and Steve VK6HD and VK6VZ with a
big
signal. Heard but couldnt worke KH2/K4SXT, so was a bit to late. From
Africa
5H3US and 5H3RK had both nice signals. Same ZS4TX was loud.

>From USA was a very bad time. Heard quite some nice signals, what I try
to
call, but most of them give me the feeling, my antenna must be down.
Here some of those guys:
K8ND 579 called him 15 minutes...nil
W8CAR 569 nil...
W3GN 599 CQ CQ like alligator, not hearing any time
W4ZV 579 worked same qrg as 5b4ada, but fast CQ no listn....
W4WA 579 CQ CQ in 10 minutes, lisn time 3 seconds...
KV4FZ 569 but no succes...

So I have the feeling, this year Stew Perry contest looks more like a
160m Sweepstake...Activity from other part of the world is not very
high, and most US stations have calling in 599 QRZ matter, so no time
for listening on week signals...

So i guess this will be my last entry in Stew Perry.

Anyway see you in the 160m contest end of January.

Merry Christmas and a happy Y2K to everyone.
