N4PK was the other half of the dueling multi-single at K1TO (K4WCF with
K1TO, WD4AHZ and N4KM was the other,) which besides last year has been a
regular event since K1TO made sunny Florida his home a few years ago.
Since one station always had the advantage of being on the best band, the
other station had to be on another band.
N4PK started on 10, K4WCF started on 15 (advantage WCF) then when 10 slowed,
N4PK moved to 20 (advantage PK) when 15 died, K4WCF moved to 40 (which was a
advantage later once 20 slowed), N4PK went to 80.
We took time off from about 3:30 to 7:30 AM EST.
N4PK was going to get to have access to 15m on Sunday, while K4WCF would
focus on 20. Each station had off time to take and it was taken except the
last hour by 6:00 PM or so. The last two hours was spent with each station
on for 30 minutes and off for 30 minutes using 14.271 ---
K4WCF (K1TO at the helm) finished up 7 Q's up when he had a fast last 30
mins.
N4PK had sweep before K4WCF then it was neck and neck most of Sunday .
Thanks to K1TO for hosting and Maryanne for putting up with us!
