Now I know what hitting 360 Q's in the regular sprint feels like! (If only it
was that easy...) Good rate, not too many "Duh" periods, felt loud. Cool!
Plus, the Stew Perry livened up the early morning, as well. I like having both
contests on the same day...kind of like a triathlon. All that's needed is a
six hour DX contest in the afternoon and we'd be set!
One thing about the sprINT...all it really takes is four stations. There were
a lot of times that I felt I was just working the same 15 stations and ignoring
a number of the weaker/slower callers. I wonder if they felt a little shut
out? I had no incentive to work 'em. But that's for the regular sprint, isn't
it? This is just a pure rate fest, so I'm not particularly perturbed, just
feeling a little guilty pleasure, that's all :-)
Looking forward to the name traces to see where all the Barry's came from.
That and gonna see if I can get someone to beat up whoever came up with
Beauregard and Brightman! At least Rumplestiltskin was absent this year.
