I managed to fall asleep few hours before the end of the contest. Paul, VE3SY,
owner of the station I was operating from, found me asleep on the operating
bench with my headphones on. When I woke up, it was less than 30 minutes to go
with JAs loud on 20 mtrs.
Murphy doesn't seem to hang around Paul's house. Everything just works. It
took me about half an hour to unload the rig and the amp from the car and hook
everything together just prior to the contest. Everything worked FB for the
entire duration of the contest.
This was also a farewell contest for VA3NA. After having this call for about 8
yrs, I changed it to VE3EY.
