Comments:
Great contest. Resisted the temptation of 10M at the beginning and used my old
friend 15M. Was able to generate my best ever hour (121) and had 509 Q's in the
log when I vacated 21028 at 0153Z. 40M was great also, and I ended up not
getting on 20M much at all. I guess my new homebrew 5el 44' 20M yagi will have
to get tested out in CQWW CW.
I think all the antenna work paid off - all seemed to work good. No more
tribanders and now a yagi on 40M. Thanks to N5TJ for use of his TS850S while
mine are in the shop. Used an FT920 for the 2nd radio --- sure glad it wasn't
my "main" one. It sure got crushed with all the big sigs.
This contest ain't broke. Lots of guys over 1300 this year. Congrats to all.
