Decided to go high power this year since KB4ET loaned me an amp for the ARRL 160
contest and he hasn't repoed it yet. My goal was 2,500 Q's and I would have made
it without the S8-S9 line noise to the west and northwest for the entire
contest. Another "Field Day" operaton wih two portable lifts. Antennas: 10
element Telrex fixed NE at 30' and 4 element M2 rotatable at 70'. Worked every
mult I heard. My apologies for being an alligator, but the line noise made it
impossible to work anyone who wasn't an honest 59. 73, Jay N4OX
