Comments:

20 was fantastic out here - kept the 2nd radio there until 0240Z. Real short
skip. Even K6LL, at only 450 miles, was loud. 40 was strange - the
Tennessee/Indiana alliance was rockcrushing, but everyone else was down 20 or
more dB. Got beat out all the time, it seemed. A switchable low dipole for
W6/W7 would have been useful. 80 was great - never seemed to get beat out, but
lots of unanswered CQ's. Seemed like activity was down on 80 compared to 20 and
40 - despite putting in a full hour on 80, couldn't break 100 QSO's.

Had 3+" of rain here in the past 2 days. Lost power twice, and had to wait 2
minutes each time for the computer and amplifiers to come back to life. Lost a
QSO with AL1G - was in the middle of a QSO with her when the power went out.
Sorry Corliss ! Probably should get a UPS to hold the computer - could at least
work barefoot waiting for the amplifiers.

Thanks for all the great activity and the QSO's !

73,
Steve
